Scott Tesser

Scott Tesser

CEO and co-owner

A seasoned textile executive with nearly 40 years of experience, Scott Tesser is chief executive officer and co-owner of Precision Textiles. Under his leadership, Precision Textiles has become known for its innovative approach to solving customers’ problems and delivering unique nonwoven and laminate solutions throughout the mattress, automotive and healthcare industries. He continues to foster the company’s science-based development of product through research and development.

Growing up in the textile business, Tesser cut his teeth at family-owned Tesser Textiles, formerly located in New York City. The company, founded in 1920 by his grandfather, was a supplier to the apparel industry, and Tesser joined the family business after graduating from Syracuse University.

Peter Longo

Peter Longo

COO and co-owner

A mechanical engineer, Peter Longo started Precision Custom Coatings, the predecessor to Precision Textiles in 1987 with five employees. Since then, the company has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of nonwoven and laminate solutions for mattresses, healthcare and automotive products.

When the company was started, it manufactured all nonwovens, and over the last 30-plus years, Longo has led the company’s charge to diversify and develop new products through chemistry and innovative machinery.

Michael McDonagh

Chief Financial Officer

Since beginning his career at EY (formerly Ernst & Young), Mike McDonagh has served as Chief Financial Officer at privately owned, mid-sized manufacturing companies and spent 20 years with a major Japanese electronics firm. He lived in Amsterdam, Holland, for several years, where he helped establish and support the company’s European operations.

In his role as CFO at Precision Textiles, McDonagh supports our existing management team through ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and strategic financial leadership. An agile business strategist and trusted relationship builder, he brings deep financial expertise along with valuable cross-cultural experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. His extensive expertise and ability to drive growth through strategic finance make him a strong addition to the company’s leadership team.

Before joining Precision Textiles in 2025, McDonagh was CFO at Ware Industries, a major producer of flat-rolled galvanized steel products for commercial buildings. Prior to that, he served as CFO at Hytorc, the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrenches, along with other industrial fastening and assembly solutions.

McDonagh is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Hartford.

 

Keith Martin

Keith Martin

Vice President

A 20-year veteran of Precision Textiles, Keith Martin leads the company’s product development and sales teams. With nearly 25 years of experience in the textile business, Martin serves as the liaison between Precision Textiles’ customers and the research and development team to develop leading nonwoven and laminate solutions for the bedding, automotive and healthcare industries.

A 1997 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in textile engineering, Martin grew up working in textile mills in his home state where he held a number of internships in various research and development departments. Prior to joining Precision Textiles, Martin was part of a three-person team for another company that developed FR products for the mattress industry.

Moe Kovangji

Vice President of Manufacturing

A highly experienced, results-oriented plant operations executive, Moe Kovangji is general manager of Precision Textiles. He is skilled in team development and is particularly effective in implementing lean manufacturing principles and cost-reduction efforts. Overseeing the company’s continuous improvement processes, he also leads the company’s safety initiatives, quality assurance processes, profit-and-loss budget optimizations, capital expenditures, distribution and warehousing strategies.

Before joining Precision Textiles in 2006, Kovangji served in both engineering and plant management positions for Synthetic Industry Progress Company, Hills Brothers Coffee/Nestle Food Company and Recycled Paperboard Inc. An engineering expert, he has been published in several industry trade publications, including TAPPI Journal, Pumps and Systems, Pulp and Paper, Manufacturing.net and the website for the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP).

A graduate of the University of Prishtina in Kosovo. Kovangji also achieved his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Gerry Welkley

Gerry Welkley

National Sales Manager

With more than 30 years in the sleep products industry, Gerry Welkley leads Precision Textiles’ sales force. As national sales manager for the company, he works hand-in-hand with bedding manufacturers to deliver creative FR solutions. Since joining Precision Textiles 12 years ago, Welkley has played a pivotal role in growing the company’s sales through strong customer relations, sales and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Leggett & Platt, a bedding components supplier. Welkley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Aurora University.

Aneta Konior

Director of Research and Development and Industrial Sales Development

A 30-year veteran with Precision Textiles, Konior oversees the company’s product development efforts. Joining the company at the age of 18, she has gained invaluable experience across each of the company’s departments – having also served as production supervisor and quality control manager. Particularly adept at working hands-on with customers, she utilizes her extensive understanding of the company’s capabilities to develop innovative products to meet the needs of today’s marketplace.

Among Konior’s key accomplishments is leading the company to becoming ISO 9000:2008 certified. Serving as lead auditor, she has applied her technical expertise and focus on quality to provide valuable support to the company’s sales development initiatives to ensure that all products meet customer requirements.

Konior graduated from Montclair University in New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Shaile Dusaj

Director of Industrial Sales and Marketing

An experienced executive in the sales and marketing of industrial products, Shaile Dusaj serves as director of industrial sales and marketing. A key leader in developing the company’s composite business, which has since grown to become one of its largest divisions, he has also been instrumental in driving the growth of the company’s automotive products segment by more than 400 percent. Among his other accomplishments, Dusaj helped develop a number of products for the company’s SlumberShield division, including pillows, mattress protectors, mattress encasements, sheet sets and blankets.

Before joining Precision Textiles, Dusaj held several leadership roles at Fabrite Laminating Corporation, a textile laminating and fabric finishing company, eventually working his way up to chief operating officer. Prior to that, he served as process control engineer for Tolaram Fibers LLC, a manufacturer of nylon yarn.

Dusaj received a master’s of business administration degree from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. He also holds a master’s of science degree in textile science from Kansas State University.

Garrett Graven

Product Development Manager

An experienced leader in supply-chain processes, operations and product development Garrett Graven is product development manager for Precision Textiles. Joining the team in 2017, Graven drives product strategy and innovation for the company, coordinating key activities including research and development, sampling, sourcing and design. Serving as the liaison between the company’s purchasing team and its Asia-based vendors, he develops and manages sales forecasts  and inventory to ensure that the company meets the delivery schedules for its customers.

Graven’s career includes executive positions with Global Textiles Alliance. During his tenure, he served as the company’s knitting and raw materials manager, director of Asia operations and director of operations/plant manager. In these roles, he was responsible for managing the raw-materials segment and leading the overall operations of the company’s Asia unit. 

A graduate of Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University, Graven received his bachelor’s of science degree in business/managerial economics.
