Precision Cares
Precision Cares is our nationwide charity networking initiative, supporting 501(c) non-profits in need of bedding, furniture and mattress donations, particularly those who cater to children, autism awareness, veterans and survivors of domestic abuse. In addition, during the COVID-19 crisis we pledged our support by donating personal protective equipment in the form of medical gowns and masks to hospitals and facilities in need. We continue to support these charities and build our networking program as outlined below.
Arbor Day Foundation®
As one of our many philanthropic endeavors we have partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to help expand the forest canopy, reduce our carbon footprint and support our PRESERVING the PLANET initiative. Our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation helps accentuate this initiative and ensures responsible replanting, replenishment and regrowth processes to create measurable change. Through this partnership, we have committed to planting a minimum of 10,000 trees in the U.S. annually. Armed with the Arbor Day Foundation’s science-based approach, we’re planting the right trees in the right places for the right reasons.
Autism Awareness
Precision Textile’s commitment to supporting Autism Awareness stems from a dedication to inclusivity and understanding within our own community. By championing autism awareness, we aim to foster an environment of acceptance and support for individuals on the spectrum.
We are proud to have been a 2021 gold sponsor for the Ante4Autism Poker Tournament during the Las Vegas Winter Market. Additionally, for the last three years, we have donated to the special needs program at Wanaque Elementary School in our home state of N.J. Our donations are used to help children with autism by offering speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy as well as teaching aids for the classroom.
Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Advocacy for breast cancer awareness underscores our commitment to women’s health and wellbeing. It reflects our dedication to advancing scientific research and innovation in the fight against breast cancer. Each year we plan an event that allows us to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
In October of 2022, we organized a breast cancer fundraising walk at Garrett Mountain Park in Woodland Park, N.J to raise money for BCRF. Employees, family and friends came together to contribute to our cause.
In October of 2023, we held a penny war competition to raise money for BCRF. Our Precision family came together with enthusiasm and creativity turning pennies and change into a powerful force for a noble cause. Our dedicated employees collectively raised thousands of dollars, which Precision Textiles matched. We feel proud to have worked together to make a difference.
